If you're ok with the 60% form factor, there are other options. I’ve read that the K2 is a bit tall and may be uncomfortable on the wrist for prolonged typing. I’ve been in search of a wireless keyboard for sometime and the most prevalent ones that show up are the Anne Pro 2 and the Keychron K2. The K6 I got with hotswappable switches, so I might try out some different switches soon and I'll likely buy some new keycaps as well. Now, TL;DR: the AP2 is better in terms of software, build quality, design and function; the K2 has more keys; and that’s why it is better. I'm thinking about getting the anne pro 2 as I type this on my keychron k2 I got last year. Also, the software allows you to fix some bugs; like “not having a `” key. I read the same thing about the K2 also and took a chance on it via Amazon with an easy return path. However I think you can still use the top row as F keys by holding down another key. Sometimes, and I don’t know exactly when, and it doesn’t matter whether I’m on bluetooth or USB, I get a key stuck in repeat and I need to turn it off or unplug. During this week I have my own personal taste tested on them; and, as a lawyer, I’ve typed about one hundred thousand keystrokes on each (more or less, think of about two privacy policies, three software licenses, one terms of service and a few commercial agreements). Lights are not a factor, but both of my boards are RGB. I plan to use this keyboard on different places and I don’t want to be bringing a palm rest.
